All Celtic Warrior Kilts
are custom fit to your measurements.
It is very important that you measure correctly.
Because they are custom made to your specifications, there are no
returns for improper fit.
To measure for your kilt, follow the directions below.
It is best to use a good sewing tape measure to take measurements.
If you do not have one available, you can use a piece of rope or a belt
to measure.
Mark where the measurements are and then lay it flat on a tape measure
to get your measurement.
It is best to have someone help you take the measurements if you can.
WAIST MEASUREMENT |
- Decide where you want your Celtic Warrior
Kilt to ride on your waist.
- It can be worn at your true waist (A1)
or lower on your hips like a pair of jeans (A2).
- There is no "right or wrong" place to wear it. It is
YOUR kilt. You decide. This is merely a matter of preference.
- Pick the spot you prefer and measure, holding the
tape snug, but not tight.
- Don't suck in your gut or push it out. Just stand
natural and measure.
- This measurement will probably be 2 to 4 inches
larger than your pant size.
|
HIP MEASUREMENT |
- Take the tape measure and measure around the widest
part of your butt (B).
- This measurement should be taken LOOSELY. DO NOT pull
the tape snug.
- You should be able to move the tape easily, perhaps
even put a finger between the tape and your body.

LENGTH
MEASUREMENT |
- This measurement in particular is best done with
assistance.
- Stand straight looking straight ahead. Do not bend
forward or even look down as this can change the measurement.
- Have someone measure from where you chose to measure
your waist, down to where you want the kilt to be at your knee (C).
- Most people measure to the middle of the knee. Some
however prefer it more to the top of the knee, or lower to the bottom
of the knee.
- Again, it is YOUR kilt. There is no "right or wrong"
answer. Measure to where you prefer it.
